The right chemistry
Regional Success in the Schools’ Analyst Competition
Three Lower Sixth pupils from Exeter School have won the South West heats of the Schools' Analyst Competition, a national Chemistry competition organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The team of R. Glover, H. Vercoe and W. Bell beat ten other teams at the University of Bristol to win the regional heats. They needed to work together as a team to carry out four complex practical analytical determinations based on problems relevant to industrial or social needs, where they were judged for skill, understanding and accuracy.
The team will now go on to represent the South West in the national final in June. Congratulations and the best of luck for the finals!
