Tintin, Rodin and crêpe-making
Language school visit to Paris, Autumn 2011
Sixteen pupils and two staff headed to Paris over the October half-term. Morning lessons in a Language School were complemented by a veritable feast of culture.
Pupils enjoyed seeing Tintin in French, climbing the Tour Eiffel at sunset and seeing Paris from the water, not to mention admiring the works of Rodin, Delacroix, Manet, Buren and others. They extended their vocabulary with such useful words as perruque, urgences, sanglier and morse. And one pupil found a job making crêpes!
A fabulous time was had by all.
