Boys enjoy “Super Saturday” of rugby
Coaching from the Chiefs at Sandy Park
On 1 October thirty boys from the Junior School enjoyed a “Super Saturday” of rugby.
The day started with watching the first half of the England v Scotland game in the Junior School hall. Mums and Dads were invited, and the excellent bacon sandwiches and coffee made up for the slightly lacklustre rugby.
Leaving their parents and Mr Ashman, the boys left the Junior School at half-time and made their way to Sandy Park. Here they received some excellent coaching, some of which was provided by members of the First Team squad.
After a very hot but useful session, the boys settled down to watch the Saracens match. In their pre-match interviews, some of the boys predicted a very close game. In the end, Chiefs were narrowly defeated but a great time had been had by all.
Well done, boys, for representing your school so well.
