We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that enables pupils to grow in self-confidence as learners. We believe that learning should be enjoyable and we emphasise the need both to learn the fundamentals and to develop independent learning skills and creativity.
As they progress through the Junior School, pupils are gradually introduced to the broader school site and a wider range of staff and specialist facilities. By the time they enter Senior School in Year 7, they will know many of the Senior School staff and be confident finding their way around.
Most Junior School pupils join the Senior School at age 11. They are not required to sit an entrance examination but are instead monitored by means of continual assessment as they progress through our curriculum.
Our aim is to create a friendly, caring and secure environment where children can not only grow into the wider school but also flourish into happy and confident young people.
