Academic enrichment

Academic enrichment

Exeter School believes that the curriculum in the widest sense includes far more than the timetabled taught lessons in examination subjects.

Outside of the 40 period academic week, the contribution of the large number of additional opportunities for curriculum enrichment is considered to be of great value. These academic opportunities include lectures, masterclasses, trips (day and residential), performances, revision classes, study skills lectures, leadership training, as well as various clubs and societies.

Exeter School has a thriving set of academic societies known as the Crossing Club, Catalyst Club and Comets Club across the 7-18 school. These clubs host many events with the particular aim of providing pupils with particular talents and interests to extend and stretch their experience, understanding and imagination.
