Compliance only - 2018

In January 2018, Exeter School welcomed the ISI team for its two-day regulatory Compliance Inspection and fully met all the required standards of this new-format ‘compliance only’ inspection.

This brief yet important inspection confirms that the school is compliant with all of the specified regulations and associated legal requirements set against a set of eight standards. In this particular inspection schools either meet or do not meet the requirements.

As part of the exercise to gather evidence, the inspectors observed lessons and extra-curricular activities, conducted discussions and interviews with staff and pupils, analysed responses from parent and pupil questionnaires and examined samples of pupils’ work.
